AI automation and workflow engineering
Autonomous workflows that take real work off your team — with approval gates, audit trails and a human in the loop where it matters.
Every organisation has a set of processes held together by someone copying values between two systems. It is expensive, it is slow, and it is where errors come from. That work is the highest-return automation target you have.
We map the process as it actually runs — not as the manual describes it — then automate the deterministic parts with plain code and reserve AI for genuine judgement: reading an unstructured email, classifying an exception, matching a line item across two systems that disagree about naming.
Every automated workflow ships with an audit trail, a confidence threshold, and a human approval gate on anything consequential. Autonomy is earned incrementally: run in shadow mode, measure agreement against human decisions, and widen the mandate only when the numbers justify it.
The parts that matter.
- 01
Document and invoice workflows
Inbound invoices and purchase orders read, matched against POs and receipts, exceptions routed to the right approver, and clean records posted to your ERP without rekeying.
- 02
Support and ticket triage
Incoming requests classified, deduplicated, enriched with account context, drafted with a suggested reply, and escalated on sentiment or SLA risk.
- 03
Sales and CRM operations
Lead enrichment and routing, meeting notes turned into structured CRM updates, proposal drafting from a template library, and pipeline hygiene that maintains itself.
- 04
Agentic and multi-step processes
Long-running workflows that call your internal APIs, wait on human approval, retry safely, and can be replayed from any step when something upstream changes.
- 05
Integration fabric
Reliable connections between the systems you already run — ERP, CRM, email, storage, messaging — with idempotency, backpressure and dead-letter handling so nothing silently disappears.
- 06
Custom internal copilots
Assistants grounded in your policies, contracts and historical decisions, answering with citations and respecting the same permissions as the source systems.
What you
actually receive.
Named artefacts, not a status report. Every item here is something you can open, run or hand to another engineer.
- 01Process map of the current state with measured cycle times and error rates
- 02Automated workflow with approval gates and full audit logging
- 03Shadow-mode results comparing agent decisions to human decisions
- 04Exception dashboard showing what needed a human and why
- 05Integration layer with retries, idempotency and dead-letter queues
- 06Measured before-and-after: hours returned, error rate, cost per transaction
Before you ask.
How do you decide what to automate first?
Volume multiplied by unit time, divided by variability. High-volume, repetitive, low-judgement work pays back fastest. We produce a ranked shortlist in discovery so the first project is the one with the clearest return.
What stops an agent from doing something damaging?
Scoped credentials, allow-listed actions, hard limits on value and volume, mandatory approval above a threshold, and a complete replayable log. Agents get the same least-privilege treatment as any other service account.
Do we need to replace our existing systems?
No. Almost all of this work happens around your current ERP, CRM and email. Replacing systems of record is a separate, much larger decision, and rarely a prerequisite.
Tell us what you are building.
A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right firm for the problem. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
