MVP development for startups
A real, launchable product in eight to twelve weeks — built so your Series A engineers do not throw it away.
The purpose of an MVP is to buy information. Which parts of your thesis survive contact with paying users, and which do not. Anything that does not serve that purpose is a distraction dressed up as progress.
We compress scope hard: one core loop, one user type, one payment path, real analytics. We do not compress engineering fundamentals — auth, data modelling, deploy pipeline — because those are precisely the shortcuts that force a rewrite the moment you raise.
You get a fixed-scope, fixed-timeline build with weekly demos and an honest conversation whenever a feature is not earning its place. And you get the repository, the pipeline and the documentation, so the first engineer you hire is productive in a week rather than a quarter.
The parts that matter.
- 01
Scope compression
A structured shaping week that turns a large idea into the smallest build that still tests the thesis. Ruthless about what ships now versus what waits for evidence.
- 02
The full first release
Marketing site, product, authentication, subscription billing, transactional email, admin panel and analytics. Everything required to charge a real customer money.
- 03
Instrumentation from day one
Funnels, activation and retention events defined before launch, so week one produces data you can act on rather than a dashboard of vanity numbers.
- 04
Investor-ready foundations
A clean repository, architecture documentation, a working CI/CD pipeline and no security landmines — the things technical due diligence looks for.
What you
actually receive.
Named artefacts, not a status report. Every item here is something you can open, run or hand to another engineer.
- 01Production application deployed on your own infrastructure accounts
- 02Authentication, billing and transactional email fully wired
- 03Analytics with the activation and retention funnel already instrumented
- 04Admin panel for support and manual intervention
- 05Architecture documentation and a technical roadmap for the next two quarters
- 06Optional fractional CTO support through your first engineering hires
Before you ask.
What does an MVP cost?
We quote fixed scope and fixed price after a paid one-week shaping engagement, because a number given before that is fiction. Most first releases land in a predictable band, and shaping tells you exactly where before you commit to the build.
Can you continue as our engineering team after launch?
Yes, on a monthly retainer — and we plan the handover to your in-house hires from the start. The goal is that you outgrow us on schedule, not that you cannot leave.
Will we have to rebuild this after raising?
Not if we do our job. We deliberately avoid the shortcuts that force rewrites: no untyped code, no undocumented schema, no manual deploys, no auth glued on at the end.
Tell us what you are building.
A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right firm for the problem. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
