Software development for UAE businesses

Delivered from India with almost full working-day overlap. VAT, e-invoicing, Corporate Tax records and Arabic support handled as scope, not surprises.

We do not have an office in the UAE and are not going to imply otherwise. What we do have is a delivery model that works unusually well for this market: a 1.5-hour time difference from India means near-total working-day overlap, so questions get answered the same day rather than the next.

The UAE also has specific requirements that catch software built elsewhere. VAT treatment and the move to mandatory e-invoicing, Corporate Tax record-keeping, free zone versus mainland entity structures, and Arabic language support that is genuine right-to-left layout rather than translated strings in a left-to-right interface.

What is different here

The constraints that
change the build.

  • 01

    VAT and e-invoicing

Correct VAT treatment including zero-rated and exempt categories, designated zone rules, and readiness for the phased e-invoicing mandate rather than a retrofit when the deadline lands.

  • 02

    Corporate Tax record-keeping

The UAE Corporate Tax regime requires records that substantiate taxable income. Systems need audit-grade transaction history and retention from the outset, not reconstructed at first filing.

  • 03

    Right-to-left and bilingual interfaces

Proper RTL layout with mirrored components, Arabic numerals where expected, and bilingual documents. This is a design and architecture decision; retrofitting RTL into a finished interface is close to a rebuild.

  • 04

    Free zone and mainland structures

Multi-entity businesses spanning free zone and mainland need separation of books, intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting modelled correctly rather than approximated with cost centres.

  • 05

    Data residency and on-premise

Where your regulator or policy requires data to remain in the UAE we use local cloud regions — and where it cannot sit with a third-party operator, we deploy on-premise on hardware you control, with a self-hosted AI layer.

Questions

Practicalities.

Do you have an office in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

No. We deliver from India and travel for discovery workshops and go-live where an engagement justifies it. We would rather state that plainly than list an address that is a mail forwarding service.

Can you invoice a UAE entity?

Yes. We contract with UAE entities and invoice in AED or USD. Your finance team should confirm the withholding and VAT treatment of cross-border services for your specific structure.

Can data stay in the UAE?

Yes, where required. Both AWS and Azure operate UAE regions, and we architect accordingly — including running self-hosted models rather than a third-party AI API where data cannot leave the country.

Tell us what you are building.

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right firm for the problem. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
